Click the Start button and select the Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, click Network Connections.
In the Network Connections window, open >Wireless Network Connections. This will bring up the Wireless Network Connection Status window. (If this is not the window you see, please refer to the instructions for your wireless network card on how to find and configure the SSID.)
Click the Properties button. This will open the Wireless Network Connection Properties window.
Check the Use Windows checkbox. This will open the Available Networks listbox, and the SSID of “pavlovmedia” should now be displayed.
Select the SSID “pavlovmedia” and click Configure.
Under the Association tab, select “Open” for the Network Authentication and “Disabled” for Data Encryption.
Select OK at the bottom of the window to return to the Wireless Network Connection Properties window.
The SSID “pavlovmedia” should now be listed under “Preferred Networks” in the Connection Properties window.
Select “pavlovmedia” in the Preferred Networks window and give it priority by using the Move Up button to shift it to the top of the listbox.
