There are three steps to configuring your Mac's wireless connection: (A) Find your Airport MAC Address, (B) Connect to the Pavlov Media wireless network, and (C) Activate the Airport MAC Address on your account
A. Find your Aiport MAC Address
- Click on the Apple icon in the top left of your screen
- Select About this Mac
- Click on the "More Info..."button
- Click on "Network"
- Under the "Active Services" column, select Airport
- Find the wireless MAC Address listed below
B. Connect to the Pavlov Media wireless network
- Click on the Airport icon in the top left of your screen.
- If no networks appear, select "Turn Airport On", otherwise skip to step 3.
- Choose the network named "pavlovmedia"
C. Activate the Airport MAC Address on your account
- Login to your account here (myaccount.pavlovmedia.net).
- Click on the "Activate a new device" button
- Fill out the device name (e.g., you might use "wireless connection").
- Fill out the MAC Address field with the Aiport MAC Address you found above
- Click on the Activate button.
(Optional Step) How to create a separate network Location
If you have a laptop and frequently change locations. You might like to setup separate network locations. You can create a location for your Pavlov Media wireless by replacing Section B with the following:
- Click the Apple Menu and select System Preferences.
- In System Preferences, select Network to open the Network window.
- Click on Location and choose New Location. Name it “pavlovmedia”.
- Change the Show menu to display the AirPort settings.
- Select the AirPort tab to see the AirPort connection settings.
- Turn on the AirPort Card by selecting Turn AirPort On from the AirPort Status Menu in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Apply Now.
