Chromecast is a thumb-sized media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV. Chromecast works with a growing number of apps, including Netflix, HBO GO, YouTube, WatchESPN & Pandora.

To setup a Chromecast for use, please follow the manufacturer’s directions that came with your device. For online setup directions you can try this Chromecast Setup page. Troubleshooting information m ay be found at the Chromecast Support page.  Pavlov Media cannot provide assistance or information to you in setting up your Chromecast device.

To find the MAC address on your Chromecast:

  1. Open the Chromecast app on your computer. If you have set up your Chromecast recently, you'll find a shortcut to the app on your desktop. Otherwise, Windows users should check the Start Menu; Mac and ChromeOS users should check Applications, and Linux users should navigate to the directory where they installed the program. If it has disappeared, you can always download it again via the Chromecast setup page.
  2. Click Settings. You'll see a list of all the Chromecasts connected on your Wi-Fi Network. If you have more than one Chromecast, you'll have to repeat this process. Click Settings to proceed.
  3. Find the MAC address at the bottom of the window. The system's MAC address is located at the bottom-left corner of the Settings menu.

Once you have setup your Chromecast, you may need to register it before you can use it on Pavlov Media’s network.

Login to your account here (signin.pavlovmedia.net).

Register your MAC address by following the directions in How to Register a Device to Your Account.

And your Chromecast should be ready for use.
